Finally working at full speed at the new Sofia Tsakopoulos Center for the arts. What the Sac Bee calls the "Shimmering crown jewel" of midtown, and home to the B Street Theatre. I'm so grateful that we have officially opened our doors and our shows! One Man, Two Guvnors runs through 3/11 and Gandhi! opens this weekend.

Join Tara Sissom, Amy Kelly and Stephanie Altholz on a tour of the Sofia, home of B Street Theatre.
It's so exciting to be apart of an organization as it stands on the precipice of expansion! I cannot wait to go shout at the walls of the Sofia, the Future Home of the B Street theatre. Thank you to everyone who made the Capital Campaign a success and to everyone who continues to the support the B Street! Live theatre has always been my first love and I'm filled with glee and gratitude when I think on the possibility of what has been gifted to us by the city and thousands of generous individuals and companies. In anticipation of our move, I am feeling philosophical. But now there is responsibility. We are the architects of the future art culture and heartbeat of Midtown Sacramento. I cannot wait to see the live acts, headliners, new-works, dramas, comedies, and dramadies. I cannot wait to be apart of christening the new space with rehearsals and classes and events. I can't wait to see the look on our subscribers faces as they enter the beautiful space for the first time. But mostly, I can't wait for the kids to see it. Let me take a Musical Theatre moment: Grateful, grateful, truly blessed and duly grateful. Thanks Sacramento, thank you B Street, Thank you Thespis.
That's as silly as asking what a 'Pizza Moat' is...there is no answer. Be sure to check out The New Colony in Chicago. If you like theatre, or if you hate theatre...chances are you'll get a kick out of these crazy kids. Proud to be a founding member of The New Colony. And to have made their kick ass website.
it's a great story...
A wonderful couple of chaps, and long time musicians, pick the brains of their friends in this fascinating podcast. "5 Songs" is more about life than it is music, but check out my episode here or listen to it below. What would your 5 songs be?
